​CLC's 2025 gala centered housing and legal rights of renters through the case of Diamond Jones where they challenged unjust and harmful ordinances in Richton Park, IL which ultimately changed public policy.

CLC's 2024 gala centered voting rights and access throughout the state of Illinois and Indiana highlighting their work around voting in jail, the Election Protection program, Midwest Voting Rights Program, the Illinois Voting Rights Act, and much more.
