​In fall 2015, we teamed up with Chicago Votes to produce a special series featuring young organizers telling stories about their personal and professional lives studying, working, and living in Chicago. They share their perspectives on policing and community safety, Chicago Public Schools, Black Lives Matter, and why they've chosen to get young people registered to vote and involved in political discourse. ​Spoken word is one of the rawest, emotional and most unrestricted forms of artistic performance. Draped in the vivid background that is Chicago, organizers and activists Robert Moses and Fernando deliver pieces tackling a range of issues and personal sentiments from police brutality to the "War on Drugs."
